Library Director, Weeks Public Library, (Greenland, NH)

The Weeks Public Library in Greenland, NH is a beautiful newly renovated and enhanced facility on the seacoast of New Hampshire. The library seeks a community-centered, innovative, strategic, and forward-thinking individual as the Library Director. The Director reports to the Board of Library Trustees. The Director performs all managerial duties related to planning, organizing, staffing, budgeting, reporting, programming and building operations. The Library Director is expected to work successfully with staff, the board, and community stakeholders.
Preferred requirements for the position include:
A Master’s degree in library science; at least three years of supervisory experience in an administrative or management position with responsibility for budget management; and knowledge of and experience with collection development, community engagement and current technologies applicable to public libraries.
This is an exempt full-time position (40 hours) which may sometimes include attendance at evening programs or meetings. The library offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 – $70,000, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
