The Colonial Dames of Massachusetts are seeking museum guides for the Dorothy Quincy Homestead in Quincy MA. The Homestead is a beautiful property that was home to four generations of the Edmund Quincy family from 1681-1760 as well as the Black people they enslaved and Native Americans. It was the childhood home of Dorothy Quincy, wife of John Hancock.

The Homestead is open on Saturdays and guides serve four hour shifts. Some background in guiding and interest in the Colonial period are helpful. 

The tour season runs from May 15 through October 15. Compensation is $20/hour.
