This full-time, paid internship provides valuable experiential learning opportunities to build the many skills that are foundational for a career in library services. The internship is 10 weeks beginning June 5, 2023 and ending August 11, 2023. Approximately 25% to 50% of time will be in our office in downtown Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with content organization and management
- Provide data analysis support
- Contribute to research & market data projects
Throughout the program, there will be opportunities to network with other groups within FFIO and Asset Management. Additionally, this internship also provides opportunities to meet librarians in other Fidelity teams and job functions to learn about various career paths.
Qualifications:
- Currently working toward a degree in Library Science or Library and Information Studies (including MLS/MLIS), or equivalent degree and background working in a library, information center, or research organization are encouraged to apply.
- Attention to detail, effective time management and strong communication
skills required. - Ability to learn quickly, multi-task, and work independently.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel preferred and other Microsoft Office suite
products a plus.
