Senior Archival Internship, Natick Historical Society, MA

The Senior Archival Internship gives advanced college, graduate students, or emerging professionals the opportunity to work hands-on with archival collections at the Natick Historical Society. Tasks include: maintaining accession records, creating and updating finding aids, reorganizing collections in Hollinger boxes, labeling or relabelling Hollinger boxes, creating and maintaining artificial collections, and inventorying. Other duties may include short or long-term research projects depending on the intern’s interests. Note: the senior archival intern will work exclusively with archival materials, not objects.

The Senior Archival Intern will commit to at least four hours a week with a schedule agreed upon with NHS staff. Some training in archival best practices is required. Experience using Google Docs is preferred.
