Teaching and Learning Librarian, Georgia College, Milledgeville, GA

Description:

As a member of the Instruction and Research Department, the Teaching and Learning Librarian will coordinate the first year and second year instruction program, collaborating with other librarians and university staff to pursue strategic priorities of the library and the college. The librarian will work closely with undergraduate focused campus programs and collaborate with colleagues to design, coordinate, teach, and assess innovative instruction for students. The librarian will demonstrate a commitment to diversity and create a learning environment that is welcoming, accessible and inclusive for all students.

This position reports to Associate Director, Instruction and Research Services, and knows and abides by library and university policies. This 12-month position requires an ALA-accredited Master’s degree in Library Science.
