The Librarian I Intern is working toward or has completed requirements for an M.L.S. and
provides direct services to library users of all ages, including borrower, reader’s advisory, and
information services, and technology assistance

Professional Librarian I; Hourly Rate: $22.91 to $29.10 (in six steps) plus weekend differential.

Duties

Provides direct services to library users of all ages, including borrower, reader’s advisory, and information services, and technology assistance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and enrollment in an ALA-accredited M.L.S. program. Public service experience working with adults, teens and children preferred. Must have completed an MLS-level course on information resources and services.

Schedule

Position 1 – 19 hours per week: Monday 4-9, Thursday 4-9, Friday 12-4 & Saturday 12-5.

Position 2 – 19 hours per week: Tuesday 9-2, Wednesday 4-8, Friday 10-3, Saturday 10-3
