Transfer Project Assistant (Less Than Half Time), Access Services / Harvard Library, Cambridge, MA

Description:

Reporting to and working under the direction of the Access Services Librarian, this employee will process—physically and in Alma (library database)—sales catalog volumes for off-site storage; pull materials from the shelf, look up and change records, arrange materials into long-term storage boxes, move these into shipping totes/bins; lift and move totes/bins to point of shipment. This employee may also work under the guidance of local Fine Arts Library staff.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
Accuracy and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

Able to lift bins/boxes weighing up to 40 pounds. Able to push full book trucks, stoop, bend, twist, lift and reach.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work is performed in a library/office setting.

Salary

$18.00  /  hour
