Coordinator for End Processing and Collection Management, Harvard Library, Cambridge, MA

Additionally, Access Services staff members are committed to delivering high-quality customer service; timely access to collections; maintaining the integrity and security of library resources and materials; and accommodating user needs in accordance with the priorities and objectives of the Harvard Library.

Under the general guidance of the Access Services Manager for Reshelving and Collection Management, the Access Services Coordinator assists in the operation of the Widener End Processing Hub as well as space management of the Widener collection. In this role, work is frequently performed with a high degree of judgement and latitude. They carry out a variety of advanced library duties requiring substantial knowledge of library systems and procedures to provide access to collections and process library materials, ensuring that materials are ready for patron use. Working cooperatively with colleagues in Access Services and other Harvard Library units, this position supports a broad range of public services for library users and actively engages in cross-unit collaboration.

Due to the varied nature and volume of the work in Access Services and Collection management, all Access Services staff may be called upon to contribute to work in other areas, including reshelving and materials transfer workflows.

How to apply:

This position requires work to be completed onsite. Working hours will generally be 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
