The Robert Crown Law Library is proud to host the J. Paul Lomio Memorial Fellowship for the summer of 2022. The Fellowship is intended to give candidates interested in law librarianship as a career an opportunity to apply and hone their skills and knowledge in an academic law library setting. Fellows, working under the guidance and supervision of our distinguished librarians, will learn about the overall functions, policies, and practices of the Robert Crown Law Library. Additional details about the Fellowship can be found on our website

Eligibility and Requirements:

  • Be a current graduate student or recent graduate (graduated within the past 2 years) of an accredited library science, information science, or archival studies program or a current J.D. student or recent graduate (graduated within the past 2 years) at an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Have a strong commitment to a career in law librarianship, demonstrated by either relevant work experience or relevant coursework.
  • Commit to six consecutive weeks of full-time employment as a Fellow.
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

The J. Paul Lomio Memorial Fellowship is open for both in-person or remote candidates, with a preference for in-person candidates. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis with a preference for applications submitted by April 22, 2022. The Fellowship will provide a $6,000 stipend.
