Gonzaga University’s Foley Library is searching for a University Archivist and Humanities Liaison as part of our unique Underrepresented Minority Fellowship Program (https://www.gonzaga.edu/about/offices-services/office-of-diversity-equity-inclusion/our-work/underrepresented-minority-post-doctoral-fellowship-program). *Note: this position within Foley Library requires a terminal degree but NOT necessarily a Ph.D.*


The successful candidate will lead new developments in the University Archives and Special Collections area of the library with partnership from the Associate Dean for Scholarly Resources, the Digital Collections Librarian, and the Special Collections Librarian. The position is a member of the department of faculty librarians which has a rotating chair but will also work closely with the Scholarly Resources department.

As part of the GU URM Postdoctoral Program, the fellow will also have the support of a cohort coordinated through the Gonzaga University Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion including mentors – both within and external to the library – employee affinity groups, support for professional development and networking opportunities, and the possibility for reappointment into a tenure-track position after two years, pending usual reappointment evaluations for library faculty.

Starting Salary Range: $54,068 – 60,000
