Inventory/Cataloging Project, Private Collection, Concord, MA

Description:

Looking for “intern” or retired librarian to help home owner manage his personal book collection/library in his home in Concord, MA. 
Estimated time: 4 hours 2 X week to start. Then manage maintenance program after system has been created. 
Start Date: April 2022, flexible

Pay: $25/hr
Library of 3000 books

  • Organize books and book shelves by category and sub-category
  • Inventory collection by category and sub-category
  • Identify categories that can be archived and moved to basement or external storage unit 

Locations 

  • 25×25 office, various 2 shelf units 
  • 25×30 one store room/studio with desk, and small painting
  • 10×12, one 12 foot wall floor to ceiling
  • 12X25 room with 2 12 foot book shelves (4 shelves high)
  • Miscellaneous bookshelves in house
