As an eDiscovery Analyst, you will

  • Handle all facets of importing and processing data, creating and maintaining databases, and preparing electronic document productions
  • Assist in developing effective database searches
  • Consult with legal teams regarding platform capabilities, features, best practices, and technical issues
  • Collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders on collection and preservation efforts
  • Manage and execute data preservation, collection, and processing requests for all electronically stored information
  • Understand and comply with protocols regarding collecting, preserving, and dispositioning data, managing databases, and producing documents
  • Manage the technical administration of document reviews
  • Provide training to stakeholders on a variety of eDiscovery topics such as tools, software, processes, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Monitor metrics and communicate with legal teams on project progress
  • Assist in the evaluation, selection, and implementation of technology solutions
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the eDiscovery tools and applications.
  • Maintain eDiscovery software applications by monitoring day-to-day function and performing regular updates and refreshes
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with incoming data and software applications

Here Is What You Will Bring To The Job

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3 to 6 years of experience working within the eDiscovery industry
  • Experience with end-to-end eDiscovery toolsets, including preservation, collection, and review tools and automated workflows
  • Technical expertise in performing digital forensics on a variety of media, including cloud sources, hard disk drives, network shares, and portable devices
  • Technical expertise in following industry best practices and standards in digital evidence acquisition, handling, and documentation
  • Experience with the Information Governance Reference Model (IGRM) and eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM)
  • Experience with modern eDiscovery tools, including Exterro, Nuix Enterprise Collection Center, Nuix Workstation, and Nuix Discover
  • Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) Certification
  • Nuix Data Discovery Master Certification, and Nuix Forensic Practitioner Master Certification preferred.
  • Ability to rapidly identify, analyze and address complicated issues, and distill that complexity into simple and concise communication to influence outcomes in cross-functional settings.
  • Track and analyze data to visualize metrics and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Take regular training and obtain required certifications in areas of relevant law, regulation, and industry best practices, and recommend and execute appropriate policy or process changes
  • Assist with vendor identification and management, including monitoring of vendor costs, efficiencies, and practices. Participate as requested in solicitation and review of vendor bids.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
