The Mansfield (CT) Public Library is looking to fill a rare opportunity of the position for a Public Service Librarian focusing on adult library services for the community. 
Directly reporting to the Library Director, the Adult Services Librarian is a member of the Library’s Senior Management Team and is directly involved in assisting in the development and planning of library services and policies.  This position requires an effective leader with demonstrated excellence in the following areas: collection development, public programming, strategic planning, building community partnerships, and customer service. The successful candidate should be familiar with current and emerging technologies and trends in the area of adult library services.
Mansfield librarians are required to have the knowledge, skills and ability to work in and cover other service departments from time to time. 

The successful applicant must have: a Masters of Library Science from an American Library Association accredited school of library/information science. At least three years of adult library services experience.

Salary Range:  $63,999.81 – $83,201.58 Annually
