Interested in a career in Slavic/East European/Eurasian librarianship?  Know someone else who might be?  The Slavic Library Institute 2022 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is offering a limited number of opportunities to become an SLI Fellow.  Successful applicants will receive full tuition, lodging, and up to $500 in travel costs to participate in the Institute, which will take place at the top-ranked UIUC iSchool and Library in Urbana from May 16th to June 3rd, 2022. 

Leading national and international experts in the field will provide instruction and training to prepare participants for careers in libraries, archives, museums, government agencies, and other information sciences contexts with a focus on Slavic, East European & Eurasian Studies.  The Institute is intended for graduate students in Library & Information Sciences as well as early-career librarians.  Graduate course credit is available.
