Description:

Year-long fellowship through American Conservation Experience. Catalogs National
Park Service records under the supervision of experienced archivists. Duties include
surveying records, arrangement, rehousing, and creating finding aid and catalog
records using national and NPS standards. The records of Upper Delaware Scenic and
Recreational River are the major focus of this internship. The Northeast Museum
Services Center is located in Charlestown, MA and is accessible via public
transportation. M.L.S. or Master degree in History required; archives concentration
preferred. Hourly pay is $23.50. 40 hrs./week with no benefits. Anticipated start
date early July at the Center’s offices in Charlestown Navy Yard. Housing is not
available, but parking or transit subsidy may be provided.


This position is funded through the Public Land Corps Act which has specific
program requirements: Must be 18-30 years of age to apply; military veterans up to 35
are encouraged to apply; US citizen or permanent resident.
