Beta Phi Mu 2021 Scholarship Season Opens – For Garfield Fellowships Only

he 2021 Beta Phi Mu scholarship season is now open. The 2021 scholarship application period runs from November 15, 2020 through March 15, 2021. This year, applications will be accepted for Eugene Garfield Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships only.  

Due to budgetary constraints, the Sarah Rebecca Reed Scholarship for beginning LIS students, the Blanche E. Woolls Scholarship for School Library Media Service, and the Harold Lancour Foreign Research Fellowship will not be awarded in 2021.

​Frank B. Sessa Scholarships for Continuing Professional Education of Beta Phi Mu Members will be awarded by lottery as usual. The 2021 Sessa lottery will open on January 1, 2021.
