Responsibilities:

As a member of the U.S. Information & Research Centers team, the IRC Assistant will work with IRC staff in support f the consulting staff and the Director, US Information & Research Centers in resource management and reporting. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Client development support
    • Provide Managing Directors with information about potential clients and industries upon request
    • Resources leveraged will include ThomsonOne, S&P CapitalIQ and Factiva
  • Internal resource management
    • Assist in updates to the IRC section of L.E.K.’s intranet as assigned
    • Requires working in Sharepoint
  • Resource management
    • Assist in the maintenance of IDs for a variety of resources
  • Resource usage reporting
    • Assist in the monthly reporting of costs and chargebacks to US and ex-US accounting department
    • Assist with ad hoc requests for case costs throughout the month.

Required Education/Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • The job requires strong written and oral communications skills, critical thinking skills, resourcefulness and creativity. The successful candidate will possess a customer service attitude demonstrating an eagerness to learn and satisfy Information & Research Center clients (L.E.K.’s consulting staff).

Desired Education/Qualifications:

  • Preferred candidates are currently enrolled or recent graduates of an accredited library science graduate degree program.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel are preferred.
  • This is a part-time position (20 hours per week),. Start date is flexible.
  • Hourly rate is 23/hour.
