Shogun, and we’re on a mission to help people create the best eCommerce experiences in the world.

We were in the Winter 2018 batch of Y-Combinator, we recently raised a Series A investment, we have over 14,000 active paying clients, and we’re preparing to launch a new product in 2020 (you can read more in Tech Crunch).

Our teams are fully distributed and global (check out our team page)! We have no office, so we are looking for team members that are comfortable with and motivated by the opportunity to work remotely.

Location: North America

In this role you will:

  • Build out our Technical Partnerships program and team- this role has a primary focus on product integration, and a secondary focus on business development.
  • Understand our technical partnerships business strategy and deliver product integrations that Shogun clients love.
  • Build relationships with key software companies in the eCommerce industry; both platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, Magento etc.) as well as 3rd party applications like Klaviyo, Recharge, Yotpo, etc.
  • Manage the integrations roadmap—recognize and prioritize potential integrations from various inputs (user research, client support data, business development) so the team is always working on the most impactful integrations.
  • Collaborate with the founders, sales, support, design, and engineering to imagine the future of our integrations/technical partnerships ecosystem, and define solutions to big problems.
  • Define a product scope that is focused on the most important use cases with a focus on getting it into users hands as quickly as possible.
  • Build out a small team of Technology Partnership Managers who develop and manage relationships with our partners.
  • Motivate a group of committed, smart people to do the best work of their careers.
  • Define quantitative and qualitative success metrics and constantly evaluate if your solutions are driving the intended results, both before and after it’s released.
  • Deliver world-class software—maintain the quality of the product that your team is responsible for.


Requirements and Qualifications:

Required:

  • 5+ years experience working in product development/product management at a B2B SaaS company.
  • 2+ years experience in a leadership/management role.
  • 2+ years experience in a client facing role (sales engineering, sales, business development).
  • Experience with integrations product work is preferred.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quantitative goals in both individual and leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing teams.
  • A data-driven approach to strategy and decision making.

Desirable:

  • You understand technology, and are familiar with the latest web technologies and software.
