Library Director, University of Maine at Machias, Machias ME

The University of Maine at Machias invites applications for the position of Director of Merrill Library. The director leads and oversees all aspects of the 84,000-item library, including student and faculty services, collection development (including electronic resources), and the advancement of information literacy. In creative collaboration with faculty and staff, the director ensures the library’s central role in fulfilling UMM’s mission.  Minimum qualifications include a Masters Degree in Library or Information Science and five years of professional library experience, including at least three years at a collegiate library.
